The Academic Student Success Coordinator provides support to the academic department as well as to the BSN Program Director and Assistant Directors of the campus.


  • Provide clerical support to Directors
  • Communicate important and necessary information by written and or verbal means as directed to students, staff and nursing leadership
  • Track accreditation calendars, assists with compiling required/requested information
  • Monitor the cohorts’ satisfactory academic progress throughout the program and generate reports to demonstrate that
  • Assists with student success and student remediation through monitoring of student progress in course outcomes
  • Provide ongoing reports on faculty utilization of NCLEX success strategies and resources
  • Collect Data from the program Director regarding their Campus NCLEX pass rates and prepare reports
  • Communicate data compilation effectively and efficiently to appropriate individuals
  • Early identification of at-risk cohorts and oversight of strategies to promote student success on NCLEX exam on the first attempt
  • Communicate important and necessary information by written and or verbal means as directed
  • Document pertinent information required as relates to interview schedules for academic advising/counseling; updates Program Director’s calendars, and schedules; calendars and schedules for nursing program as indicated
  • Assist with maintenance of both faculty & student files
  • Assist with posting of grades and maintenance of attendance records as needed
  • Assist with updating and maintaining of program manuals to meet guidelines and criteria of the accrediting agencies and boards
  • Serve as role model for faculty, staff and students in the areas of customer service, collaboration, communication, attendance and general professionalism
  • Perform special projects as assigned


  • Certificate in health care, medical or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Intermediate computer knowledge, advanced preferred
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Able to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to express technical information clearly and simply to non-technical persons
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic environment based on changing policies, procedures and clinical needs
  • Strong Organizational and time management skills
